February 5th 2012 is a date in which everyone will remember. It is the date in which the New England Patriots and the New York Giants face off for the right to be claimed as champions and hold a piece of history in the National Football League in Superbowl XLVI.
Millions of people will tune in to this game even though they don’t watch another single game of football all year long… you know who you are now (wink wink). But by the end of the game tonight one team will be winners and the other will be losers.
Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady goes for his forth superbowl win which will place him at the top of the greatest Quarterbacks of all time. At the same time Giants Quarterback Eli Manning goes for his second superbowl win which will put him ahead of his brother Peyton and all but grantee him a place in the Hall of Fame someday.
On the paper the Giants seem like the better team, better defense; better pass rush; better receivers but Tom Brady still feels the pain from losing to the Giants in Superbowl XLII four years ago.
I will be rooting for the Giants to win and on paper the Giant are the better team but we will have to wait to have the argument on which Manning is better; Peyton or Eli. As Tom “Pretty Boy” Brady will engrave his name in history with his fourth superbowl win tonight. My final score is 27-24 Patriots in a great rematch between two great teams.
